A few important pieces of information that I need all of you to take note of. Read carefully please.
29th June 2009, Monday
1) Grace Goh will be distributing to you the consent forms for the 1st & 2nd of July on Monday, 29th June. The forms must be returned to me by 30th June, Tuesday. Ker Xi will be in charge of collecting the forms back. Thank you in advance, Ker Xi. :)
2) On Monday, 29th June is the day for the AYG Torch Relay. We will be setting up the booth on Monday, 29th June @ 9am. So, the 19 of you must leave the class at 9 am to help out in setting up the booth. This will be the trial for the actual day also. Have a short break and meet at Mr Azuan Tan at PE Department @ 9.15 am.
3) Just to keep you mentally prepared, the media will be there. So, just be prepared with all the information. Be yourself, the script is just there to guide you. Remember, its INTERACTION and DISCUSSION. Attached is the information that will be on the booth. (Read it please)
4) The five lucky students hosting the booth on 29th June will be: Ker Xi, Nicole, Grace Goh, Billy, Roger .Be mentally, physically and intellectually prepared. :) Just be yourselves equipped with the knowledge at the booth and your own thoughts and opinion on AYG and Kyrgyzstan. As such, after setting up the booth, only these 5 students will remain out of class while the rest will return to your classes.
30th June 2009, Tuesday
1) We will have another trial of setting up the booth and packing and preparation of equipment for the actual day on Wednesday. Meet at PE Department at 2.30 pm. Have your lunch first.
1st & 2nd July, Wednesday & Thursday
1) Have your thermometers with you at all times during these two days.
2) Attire: School Uniform
3) Remember the questions that you all asked during the training? About shopping and their school curriculum? Do find out the answers!! The questions are in the script that I sent you. For everyone: I want to , like you want to know more about the visitor's culture too. INTERACTION and DISCUSSION. Don't worry the teachers will be there. :)emphasize that it is not ONLY telling the visitors about Kyrgyzstan, it is about asking the visitors questions too about their culture, thoughts and opinion. Basically
4) Student hosts must be there from start to end and are not allowed to leave after their duty is over. This is to minimize the traffic flow in and out of the hotel. Thank you for your understanding. Duty roster will be given to you.
Do not hesitate to ask if you have any queries. Thank you 3E1. You are very much appreciated!!
